That certainly is a major part bro. But the people we think know better are poison by psychological incarceration. And when the blind lead the blind both shell fall in the ditch. We are still slaves unwilling to accept the fact that the master hasn't changed. We have internalized the oppressor/intropression is whatit is called.
Anyway, maybe you would like to join my Network here at Ning i noticed that most of the folk here are on somin else/ you know more slaves today are comfortable in their slavery than when our fore parents has chains

Its not just a racial thing, its the division between the haves and the have nots. The haves would like to keep what they have, hence the miseducation and poor state of all our young. The masses are being dumbed down, not just the black minorities. Its pretty much all of us. We are being brainwashed through all types of media to want to be dumb, why else "wud kidz tlk lyk dis" If we are dumb its easier for the govt to control us an manipulate us into doing whatever it is they want us to do without question. We have become selfish, or just worried about the bills that forever increase to keep us at the point of not being able to better our lives.
Martin Luther King had a dream and that dream was for all of us to live in harmony, black/white/blue or purple.
Colour is irrelevant to the dream. Just because the powers that be are white and racist with it, it doesnt mean all white people are the same. I could say black people are corrupt and deserve what they get based on the corrupt leadership in Africa that drives around in fancy cars while its people starve to death through war and famine. But that is an ignorant assumption, it doesnt matter where you are from, the govt is corrupt. I could say all black people are criminals based on the fact that the prisons are full of black people, again another completely wrong assumption. Black people suffer as a result of the choices given them, by the powers that be. Schools in black neighbourhoods are underfunded, in fact whole black neighbourhoods are underfunded, as are poor "white trash" areas. I dont beleive in just black power, because Im white, but what I do beleive in is empowerment of the people(all of us) against the evil and corruption that drives the current world system. Its not going to get any better either, MLK had a very powerful message, thats why he was killed.
Instead of playing into the whole division game, why not play into the anti establishment game. Instead of saying "why do we black people get it so bad?", take a look around, its not something that the powers keep exclusively for black people, we are all suffering. Its only the rich that are doing well out of all this, at all of our expense. Dont become the "victimised black man" thats always being trodden on, looking for help, become self empowered, dont expect reparations for the past, I dont think they are coming. I have gone my whole life with fuck all to show for it, but I wont become the victim, I hold my head up high knowing I have triumphed over the adversity that my life has dealt me. I dont dwell in the past, I look towards a brighter future for the whole human race, not just me or my fellow white man. But that goal will require the collaboration of all races, a goal that MLK understood all too well. I also have a dream, and the way things are going it will remain a dream.
I am also a slave, my shackles are finacial.. I see the truth for what it is, slavery never died, they just call it democracy now. Besides the trafficking of people is as alive now as it ever was. Children being shipped out of eastern europe to be used as sex slaves, just google "Dyncorp sex slave ring" to see the truth.
My main message here is we all need empowerment against the tyranny that masquerades as our leadership, Knowledge is indeed power, my advice to all is to educate yourself, its not cool to be stupid, or a badman. And we dont have to resort to crime to solve our problems, if we used our heads together, we could solve most of the worlds problems together. It starts with a realisation that we must work together to achieve such a grand goal, and a grand goal requires a grand wisdom. Dont hesitate to educate yourself and others, because the schools wont do that.
