What does Hip-Hop mean to you?

yeah i think the state of hip-hop is that it is seperated because of lack of knowledge about the history of hip-hop and it's meaning..but i think that very soon people is going to get tired of this movie popcorn rap that's out and the other popcorn music as well and people are going to start looking for an alternative.. and those of us still sticking with our focus on real music we do we are going to be the students that's going to teach the ones about what we was influenced by and why we chose to keep it to the essence of hip-hop and music in general..but i feel the internet is going to change how the music is going now into people having to start coming from their heart and spirit again especially us as artists building our names up and grinding with our music..the current state of music as a whole is in trouble and i feel it's up to us to reenergize it...

I completely agree. You right, they are beginning to get tired of that popcorn music now. It's becoming redundant to those individuals who like that kind of music. I believe those who stick to their true entities, will get what they deserve when the music takes its course.

Truth, Struggle and Soul.

Why do you feel Hip Hop is a "Struggle"? I grasp the obvious concepts of truth and soul. I just wanted to get a better prespective on your views of the "Struggle" of Hip-Hop.
