Glitter=Gay...

Skulls... I dont like that because I uplift life... not death. Thats why you will never see me rock a skull on my chest. The Skulls are a lame fad if you ask me. Partyin like a rockstar type stuff... that ain't cool wit me even though I do listen to rock.

I mean come on... how you gonna party like a rockstar and not even listen to rock music?

Corps have taken over the hip hop game. It's up to us to bring back true hip hop. Support underground music and maybe things will change.

i believe i saw 36-mafia doin it too...and more power to em...

one...

half the kids dont know anything about the bands they're sportin...

two...

if you knew anything about the Misfits, fishbone, or Bad Brains, or whatever "underground hardcore/punk" bands a lot of these youngins are representin, then you would know they are more underground than most hip hop.

three...

are we forgetting how much hip hop is involved in the underground skate scene? i'm talking way before mr. pharell and lupe...way way way before...or maybe you didnt know...and its ok...now you do

four...

kid rock...c'mon...he doesnt count for anything...in any arena...the dude doesnt even know what he is...

five...

thank you funkadelic relic...

six...

fashion is fashion...when mainstream catches on to the latest thing which was something being done in the "underground scenes" for over 20-30 years, they exploit the hell out of it...destroying the whole heart and soul of the scene...think about all the hardcore/punk heads who cant stand seeing kids walking around in gear they've been rockin for years and maybe decades...and those kids know nothing about that subculture...

i believe its called a 'fad' which will soon and hopefully fade...

seven...

hip hop is not dead...

eight...

rock or whatever anyone wants to call, it is used very much in hip hop music...even though, "rock" stemms and is entwined from and with so many different types of music forms...ehm rick rubin...

lets avoid ignorance as much as possible...cause i can go on and on....

You're Welcome MISS78....but don't front on Kid Rock. He is respected in the Hip Hop community where he is from (Detroit). He was rapping before Marshall Mathers. Here's the proof...right here. It's a shame that people think that Detroit Hip Hop begins and ends with Eminem. There is so much more...just ask DJ House Shoes (Detroit's Hip Hop Ambassador).

He might not know what he is NOW...but he put in some work to get where he is today. Maybe I'm a little biased because I'm from Michigan (lol!). His first single in 1991 was produced by none other than Oakland CA Hip Hop Legend Too Short! He is cool with the whole Simmons family (Rev. Run, Russell, etc.). He was a guest on the show "Run's House". If D-Nice (from Boogie Down Productions), KRS-One, Too Short, Ice Cube, etc. thought he was nice...he had to be.

HIP HOP MOST DEFINITELY LIVES!
