We're sorry, but this discussion has just been closed to further replies.
I started the thread to promote my.rawkus.com but it quickly turned into something else. Some interesting things were said, though. Y'all might wanna take a look:
its always people like that though, going down the line of the thinking it would be like saying, I better not cross the road I could get run down by a car, or then again I better not go outside and breathe, i may catch something.....
Like Pizon said in his last response, the fact of the matter is that, for the artists in the Rawkus 50 - there are already tangible benefits that are clearly better than not being in the Rawkus 50 - It by no means makes it easy to be successfull, but its a big endorsement and does help the group focus thier efforts more efficiently. Our group definitly realise the opportunity in this deal and we hope to take full advantage.
I post on there regularly so the response about this isn't nothing new. The Rawkus situation has been discussed on there before and it was no different from the last conversation. All in all, I'm just glad cats I know like Pizon, Cy Young, Kaimbr, Roddy Rod, and etc. are getting this chance to do something with their music. Not saying that its a perfect plan but I think it shows that hard work pays off and to see dudes in the top 50 like that is a good thing. Getting help with getting your name out there can't hurt.
