Hip hop has lost its soul it is now the culture of the damned.It no longer speaks for the average powerless person in the hood it now only speaks to suburbia.The Game recently broke down in tears when describing the sad state of hip hop music over the Sean Bell case in New York.I guess most of these ignorant rappers thought speaking out on police brutality is a form of snitching on cops.Hip hop is a showcase for mental illness run amuck.In spite of Busta Ryhmes not testifying in the case that one of his close friends was murdered,in order to preserve his so called street cred,Interscope records still dropped him from the label.Is this the end of hip hop?Maybe not but alot of rap careers are going down the drain,GUNIT,Fat Joe,Diddy,Nas may be next.

Very true ya'll i def feel The Game's frustration to the heart about him reachin out to other rappers but none were man or woman enough to join him its sad KRS one had a similar problem on his self destruction 08 track and once again its sad we can only rely on these few artists and others like them including nas scarface the roots n outkast talib kweli and mosdef -Hip hop has changed it ain't the same sometimes its depressing... i see it all and im only 19
Hip hop has'nt lost anything...what the industry deems as hip hop is not hip hop.
I am so glad that what the industry deems as hip hop has crumbled. It has destroyed
itself... Now hip hop in its tru pure form can glow and be appreciated again.- We've
been underground djing, emceein',breakdancin' graffitti art, beatboxin' educating the
youth about Real hip hop music & culture.- Sharing the original script that was written
by Hip Hop's founding fathers.... Hip hop is not and has never been a showcase for
mental illness but the Music and Entertianment BUSINESS has... The MUSIC BUSINESS
had to die so that hip hop's essential elements can uproot and display it's beauty and
original intent to the world again.
