Does anybody believe these so called artist have the best interest of our great culture,or are they selling their souls to the beast? The beast is not the white man, but the world of caos, sin and headenism that is destroying the fabric of Black America. We as a people always say if I had lived back then Iwould have done this or I would have done that. Now is the time to act.Call traitors traitors sellouts sellouts and drive these vermin out of our culture
I don't think my opinion is alienating the youth.... I don’t think I’m not listening to the youth… I don't think the youth are lost yet… I want to reach the youth who haven’t been tainted yet… Those are the ones that people forget about… I always hear so much about those that have already been tainted and those who are lost… Hip Hop showed me right from wrong before wrong got me… So, I already knew… That is the power Hip Hop can have… That is the power the music can have…
Hello again Brother Kas.How often do you hear us calling each other brother and sister anymore?Malcolm X,Marcus Garvey,Dr Martin Luther King jr,must be turning in their graves at the antics of our artist and entertainers.I am so glad that everyoneof you decided tojoin this disscution,it show contrary to popular belief most of of still love our people and want to be together. We must stop apologising for being Black and wanting to survive.I am Black and proud! No dissrespect to sis Ellise but Ihave met to many people like her who think race does not matter. The still dominate White culture sees us as inferior to them. The images and behavior of many of us confirmes it.She might say dont worry about it just do you.It never dawn on them that most people only become radical out of frustration. The police White,Black, ect routinley harrass us law abiding minorities because they know noone care what happens to us.They think we accept second class citizenship while being tax first class. We dont Bill Cosby is right. As a black male I know the danger of having stereotype images.I dont travel at night unless I have to.If I go to somewhere it is where they recognise me.There are dangerous Black men doing bad thing the problem is when you are a minority group you are judge by the negative few.Whites are seen as individuals. We are just trying to protect ourselves Elise, this is the hand god delt to us we are still fighting for our freedom.Rappers, drug dealers, comedians, racist, murderers all are enemies who want us in neo-slavery.Thanks for these words

Kala, I really need you to respect me enough to not put words into my mouth! I have never said that race doesn't matter! I am a Woman, Asian, and Black! I was born into a single parent home to a woman with a heavy accent! Please do not attempt to think that I don't understand what discrimination looks like and feels like! I am symphathetic to your stance because I do not first hand know what it feels like to be a black man in America! I am not oblivious to the treatment of different culture in America! I am sorry that you walk in fear, that trait I do not share! It is the reason that I will speak and continue to speak my mind in a majority male forum! You see, even amongst us, you have been conditioned to see me as the lesser, but that idea will never move me! I will not teach my generation or that of my children to just survive! We will lead this nation! You can tuck yourself in and sit dormant in your world, but I am not ok with one sided view points that do not understand the endless education that needs to be learned! I study the Bible, The Holy Quran, Tao, etc. You have to know every view in order to make educated steps toward progress!
I am sorry Elise for that misunderstanding,I did not mean to imply you were nieve about race. But you are correct you dont know what it is like to be a black man in America.A country make no mistake Elise I love with all my heart, but I know a good portion of this country dont love us.The only thing we black males had was hip hop. When say the only thing we had I mean something that brought kinship with our brothers. Now as other races embrace this it is being taken from us.When Rakim Allah said 'constant elevation cause expantion' he sending a message to his brothers wisdom knowledge is the key.Now the people who dont understand this struggle are chosing what rappers are going to dominate the culture.I dont want in fear I have God on my side. The Lord said in the bible 'if I am for you then who can be against you.I am a God fearing man,no hatred lives in my heart. But I dont so much believe in racial harmony that I am willing to let my race be destroyed.A natural order is what I want.Every other group of people's culture is respected and preserved. At same time they can mix with different groups.By supporting or not condeming this filth that is on the airways, you are complisit in the moral sinful decay of the African-American youth. But I say this in the spirit of love and family sister Elise
Money!!!!!! I beleive is the reason why Hip Hop has been tainted....it went from a freedom of speech...a creative outlet to release the frustrations of life... to a way to make money...and lots of it....when this happened the music lost its soul...its spirit....its inspiration...now don't get me wrong I beleive that we should be able to make a living off of our natural born talents and gifts...It was the corporations that began to see the dollar signs in hip hop and simply began to capitalize on our music and culture... and whenever you put your culture and the way its represented in the hands of outsiders...you are in trouble!!! And now many artist treat hip hop as a hustle...a quick buck....nevermind whos listening and what their words are doing to an already lost generation....Our duty is to remain true artist and create true artwork...maybe we should focus more of our energy on an counterattack...maybe we should simply go back to our roots...and make good music...music that inspires and evokes an emotion that makes the listener want to better themselves...
