I miss this kind of southern flavor. Definitely bringing on the track. I couldn't make out the vocals at first when they came but after a listen I caught it. Regardless, I dig it.
Hey Imperial, I checked out the "track 14" you attached to your post, and to be honest, wasn't impressed enough to check out more tracks on your profile. Maybe I will later, but I'm just tryin' to give everyone a fair listen on this thread since we all want feedback. This is a not a diss, so I hope it's not taken that way, just thought you might want opinions from everyone (those who liked it and those who didn't.) My main qualm with the track i just heard was that the flow sounded pretty generic and doesn't stand out much to me. I mean, I've heard a lot of music with the same sound and most of that doesn't move me much because of the (1) the content being the same thing every gangsta rapper has said since NWA came out, and (2) the lyricism was pretty simple with few hard-hittin' punchlines for a song that sounds like it was supposed to be hard, (3) the mixing doesn't sound too professional either, maybe the "bad phone" effect on the main vocal was just too distant-sounding or something. Either way, I'm just givin' you what I think the problem is in hopes that things could improve. If I check out more tracks on your page later I'll let you know what I think.
