Is Abortion Right or Wrong(Pictureless Version)

Please give educated answers or no answers at all?

I saw a myspace bulletin that made me so sad! It showed very small babies torn in pieces. I've never been one to get into debates like that, so for all the people overgeneralizing saying I'm pushing a CHRISTIAN PRO LIFE AGENDA, you're wrong. I just want to know you're EDUCATED OPINIONS. Please be tasteful.

Some people should not bring kids into the world. They should practice better contraceptive methodz but for instance I have a friend that is pregnant that is back smoking the ice everyday, unfair on the baby. My best friend was a heroin baby and ended up killing himself. Sometimes abortion is the best way.

So maybe they should use more extreme measures and prevent all emotionally weak and mentally challenged people from having babies? (something for the debate as well)

How about Eugenics? I think if the theory was modified it could work. There is a loose form it in effect in china right now.

Immortal Technique brought something interesting up in an interview: in the future, when all of the aspects of the human genome are better understood, and science is able to sell resistance to AIDS, cancer, asthma, heart disease, and obesity to prospective parents, do you think it will allow for a fair representation of society?
Who will be able to afford this treatment? (Keep in mind, since the Monasnto case, the government has ruled that corporations can copyright genes and sell them. You've bought their products. Most tomatoes, cotton, corn, and potatoes you buy in the US are genetically modified organisms (GMO). This upsets biodiversity and makes the entire crop extra-susceptible to ailments that were not discovered at the time of their engineering.)
Will there be people of color in the same ratio as they are to White people now?
Will the populations of Third-World countries have a crack at it?

NO!

This would create a homogenous society of haves, and a rotting caste systems of second-class citizen have-nots , much like the film Gattaca. Systemic prejudice in hiring practices, bank loans, education, housing, and so on will be the order of the day.

I am a Christian, and I believe in a consistent ethic of life. That means I am against not only abortion, but also capital punishment, and war. I am also a vegan because I want to cause as little suffering as possible.

I do, however, believe that abortion, however horrible it is, should always be legal, affordable, and safe, because if someone is determined to have one, they deserve it to be performed in a sterile environment by a competent doctor.

I dunno Benny. It's a fine line between trying to make life better and manufacturing humans with an ACME sign on their foreheads. Eugenics seem like a one way trip to genocide. Like in 300 when the disfigured on inept children were disguarded and threw to the bottom of the mountain. It made the Spartans a super culture but there was a mini mountain of babies! a mini freakin mountain of DEAD/ALMOST DEAD BABIES! Of course, that is a huge exaggeration but that's my opinion.

Eugenics is a bad idea, but China has adopted a modified version, in which couples with a hi risk of a birth defect pregnancy are not aloud to bear children, even this may be to extreme, but I do feel that at the rate our numbers a growing we owe it to future generations to do what ever we can to better the human condition. I feel that intelegent breading is a great place to start, but I doubt it will ever happen.

I don't know what we are going to do to control the population.

When people are too poor to get proper education, shit won't help.
