In an era when every rapper claims to be a hustler, you’d be hard pressed to find an MC who actually defines himself as a lyricist. Its increasingly difficult for an emerging lyricist to get a fair shake because most artist are materialistic. A Trax, a native of Atlanta started rapping and recording professionally at the age of 13. Growing up he was inspired by rappers like 2 Pac, Too Short, 8Ball and Scarface. These influences are what made him fall in love with Hip Hop. With his pimpery and thuggery style, A Trax has the talent and creativity to take any song out there and make it his own. He has a style like no other artist, because he doesn't conform to what people think should be done or attempt stick to particular type of formula, he goes where the music takes him and that is what makes him a versatile artist. The 26-year-old possesses the type of ingenuity rarely seen today. A Trax uses his storytelling to a tee on “Move Slow Wit It” where he talks about entering and leaving the club with an exotic stripper. A Trax continues with the convincing “He Cant Do It Like Me” where he explains that there is no man that treats a woman the way he does when it comes to relationships. When he isn’t dealing with the opposite sex or touching on fast life partying A Trax displays his skills of a hustler on “1 4 Da Money”. A up tempo track where he rapidly spits heat regarding street life grinding. Then A Trax takes you for a dark ride with the mixtape smash called “Go Hard” were he trades lyrical punch lines with his partner Milez. By the end of the CD A Trax slows down and reflects on “I Sit Alone” where he tells a story of trails and tribulations on the soulful sampled track.
