Rick Loftin, going by the name 2_Smoov, has already stamped the rap genre with his catchy single “Mo Brains than Money”. This song was labeled by one of the regions best DJ’s-DJ Mista Soull, as being one of the most original and creative songs out. 2_Smoov has word-play and a demeanor that shows through his lyrics.


September 21 released the much anticipated album Hustle N My Bloodline. This album’s focus is on the struggle it takes to make it as an entrepreneur in the music industry and highlights why 2_Smoov is a “shoo-in” to make it. 2_Smoov has posters, business cards, flyers, a street team through SL Entertainment, and many other local entertainment companies prepared to push the movement.




2_Smoov is more of an adjective than just a name. 2_Smoov has a swagger about him that stands out amongst crowds of people. His personality demands attention, and he thrives at the very thought of stardom. 2_Smoov is an independent artist, but writes hooks and songs for other individuals as part of collaborations and/or individual projects.

Being from the Midwest has shown the true testament of working hard to be recognized…Internet promotions have been a huge part of having songs heard. NBA stars such as Corey Maggette, Marquis Daniels, and Joe Johnson have complimented the music and given praise to the apparent work ethic. 2_Smoov took a road trip to Chicago, IL, in December of 2006 and performed in front of a thousand plus, as a pre-act for Lil Scrappy. 2_Smoov released the Hustle N My Bloodline album on Sept 21, opened for Plies in Lakeland, FL in front of 2000 plus on Sept 22 at The Drink; He shot a video the next weekend, which is being played all over YouTube and Myspace-on Sept 28; He then opened for Lil Boosie in Oklahoma City that following weekend, Oct 5th, in front of 2000 plus at Deja Vu.


Top radio station DJ Houston Alexander keeps 2_Smoov in rotation week in and week out. 2_Smoov is approached daily complimenting tracks heard on the radio, internet, and CD’s already distributed. 2_Smoov is actively pursuing attractive venues to further expand the buzz of Hustle N My Bloodline.
