naw I feel you. But that's what big business Hip-Hop is about u know. I guess the gift of the internet is now the not so high profile cats can shine more, because we're more accessible to their music. Flip side to that though is more bums get shine, and it's like fast food Hip-Hop: everyone thinks a myspace page can make a career....smh.

Ended up not doin da Black Star piece. Couldn't get it to sound right, so I decided not to disrespect Black Star and just not write it.

The story wasnt about who has the best rappers. The story is about how the South is the only place that gets Hip-Hop any mainstream attention (besides some like MIMS type shit). How the only rappers who would make anybody pay attention to they album droppin come from the South. They're still keepin it relevent to the public---which is very different from keepin it relevant to hip-hop fans.

A story about where the best rappers at, or highlighting the best rappers in the South would be completely different.

Yo I always check ya comments. Thanks for reading my stuff & givin me feedback.

Yo fam saw ya feedback. much appreciated. Yeah people been gettin on me bout the whole spelling & grammar thing. As you can tell, it's definitely not my strong suit lol. Plus, this aint like a magazine; there aint any editors. And most time things are really time sensitive, so don't be no time for another set of eyes to look @ it and clean it up. So Imma really try to work on it.

As far as content: I think the article bout Rap Music's Lost Message was relevant. This Game piece does lack focus and relevance.

There's a post on Black Star coming tomorrow. If you read it, let know if you think it's better or worst. Peace
