Epidemic. aka Epic aka Mak aka Ep aka E aka "ask me for my government, i throw anotha Alias".. so don't ask. feel free to ask the meaning behind tha alias tho.

Started spinning when i was about 14 or something like that. taught myself to scratch with my grandmaster flash "they said it couldn't be done" album. with one technique sl-d202. and a gemini belt driven wobbly ass platter don't even remember the model.. if you know turntables, you already know.. if not.. you can NOT scratch on a belt-driven, un-sturdy platter unless you put just the slightest amount of pressure. im talking light as a feather fingers. after the music scene completely fell off.. prolly a year of so after lil jon made it big and everyone hopped on his dick to make something new/almost acceptable (for clubs) into a ridiculous fad.. I stopped djing. because everyone wanted music i just wasn't willing to play because of my own set standards for music...yea there goes my money.. so i had to go from selling mixcds/bootlegs.. to u already know wut it is.. when ur accustomed to making your own money, even at a young age. it just feels like a necessity.
There Just Isn't a big demand for Hip-Hop in this city yet i would love to be able to focus my time on perfecting DJing skills and keep spinning real hip hop forever.
Now... I kept my scratch skills up of course. I make beats. Write Poetry. I say poetry because i dont consider wut i drop rhymes. I always try to have a meaning or purpose or message. I'm in school IADT for recording arts. Learning Engineering and music business. so after i become a successful producer ima be a success somewhere else in the industry. then somewhere else... etc... i refuse to stop on one accomplishment.
I don't speak much to new faces. But I am known as a hustla by those that think they know me. So yea if i see you as a potential dollar i don't mind speaking even to a new face. Not a disrespect thing, i'll show you respect as long as it's shown to me. now if we're talking music, life, politics, something philosophical, that's something else, i'll prolly have a thought for you.
and i really don't like talking about myself so ima cut it here.
