Hip Hop and it's ungrateful son Rap

I came up this couple days ago and just want to know what people think........I see it as hip hop struggling to get respect for years and then you have rap the son of hip hop who only cares about the money and jewlery not really caring where it came from or knowing how hard hip hop had to work to get it ........but what does everyone else think?
