About Me:
U.H.H.A is a nonprofit youth outreach program for underpriviliged kids in the dfw metroplex. Our mission is to create a fun, safe, and caring environment for the youth to keep them off the streets. Starting in Jan of 2008 we will be holding free hip hop classes at Pike Park Recreation Center in DT Dallas. For more scheduling info take a look at our calendar. Our organization works to bring out the best in kids, teaching them discipline, leadership skillz, community awareness, and enhancing their self esteem. At the same time schooling them on the core elements of the Hip Hop culture.

OUR FUTURE:

U.H.H.A has got a wonderful future ahead. We plan to expand in so many ways its going to be unbelievable!! What U.H.H.A is REALLY about is not just dancing, we are working hard to do anything we can to give underpriviliged kids a chance to succeed in life and participate in things they normally wouldn't have a chance to do. As we grow we plan to touch kids lives in other areas besides dancing. The Founder and President of U.H.H.A Shanna Poteet believes in developing a relationship with the youth and tapping into their inner soul and finding out what their dreams are, what truly inspires them and finding out what we can do to make that a reality for them.


PROGRAMS:

INCENTIVE PROGRAM: This program is for kids who want to be apart of our performing team which will perform for different events, schools, fundraisers etc...., in the metroplex and travel to different cities in the future. We will also have custom made shoes and uniforms provided for the kids. To be apart of this program, the kids have to maintain good grades in school, and stay out of trouble and off tha streets. We will also be filming dance music videos of the team, as well as participate in other videos featuring local artists. These are just a couple of examples, of sum of the fun stuff that we have planned for the kids. We will be doing lots more as they come in.
