After co-founding Jus Family Records in 1992 with longtime friend and business partner Bosco Kante, Cool Nutz embarked on the long and sometimes bumpy road of the hip-hop music business.

With 4 releases and over 60,000 units sold to date independently, Cool Nutz has been a testament of longevity in the ever changing independent music industry.

With classic releases Harsh Game For The People, Speakin Upon A Million, Verbal Porn, and the newly released Collabos, Cool Nutz has proven that he deserves to stand in the upper echelon of hip-hop artists.

Having inked deals with Atlantic Records and Universal Records, Cool Nutz has seen both sides of the music business, and has stood as a survivor of the trials and tribulations of the record industry.

Cool Nutz has performed alongside such industry heavyweights as Ludacris, Ja Rule, E-40, Blackalicious, GZA, Run DMC, Clipse, Ice Cube, Cappadonna, Living Legends, Aceyalone, and more.

Cool Nutz has been featured on tracks with BG, Kurupt, Sticky Fingaz, Ras Kass, WC, Baby Bash, Lifesavas, Mac Dre, N2Deep, and many more.

He is the epitome of creativity and professionalism. He has been recognized by The Source, XXL, Murderdog, Showcase, and many more national and local publications.
