Shabazz The Disciple's Profile

Shabazz The Disciple, A Red Hook, Brooklyn native discovered by the RZA. He was originally a member of Sunz Of Man in the pre-Wu days when they were known as Da Last Future. After hooking up with the Wu-Tang, Shabazz made two guest appearances on the first Gravediggaz album "6 Feet Deep" (Niggamortis) in 1994.
His verse on "Diary of a madman" had the Hip Hop world wondering who this lyricist was.
The Year after, Shabazz The Disciple released the solo track that's best known for it's strong message "Death be the Penalty".
Not long after, Shabazz proposed a group including himself and Killah Priest called the Sunz Of Thunder.
They both effectively went their separate ways, recording solo projects and in Shabazz's case recording as Celestial Souljaz with his cousin Freestyle (of The Arsonists). In recent years, Shabazz has performed on the recent Killa Beez tour as well as doing shows in Europe with Killah Priest.
In 2003 Shabazz the Disciple realeased the widley regarded classic debut solo LP entitled "The Book of Shabazz (Hidden Scrollz)" which featured the anthems "Crime Saga", "Hip Pop" & "The Lamb's Blood".

Two years later, he retured with "The Passion of the Hood Christ" in mid-2006.



With Shabazz still heavily on the grind, expect to hear more heat in the near future!
