.. First off we got beats, shirts, and other stuff for sale...holla at us!!!! The I G Camp consists of a crew of supertallented emcess and producers, who's one goal in life is to touch the soul of every living being on this planet. The group was created in 1996 in Jacksonville FL. by Gats-B The Great and Lord North Star, and has grown over the years. With two independat albums, a long list of mixtapes and a cult following that reaches from Florida to Japan (and many places in between), the I G Camp is now ready to leave the "Underground" and invade the surface of the world's Hip hop scene. The Name I G Camp has brought up a number of questions over the years about what it means or stands for. The "I" & "G" in I G Camp stands for Infinite Gauntlet...(not the comic book, sorry Marvel no law suit here). A quick explanation of why we chose this name is: Life is like running the gauntlet, it never seems to end, except in death. From birth we all overcome obstacles that jump in our path...We represent all aspects of those obstacles and hope to serve as a guide for people of all walks of life, in how to deal with the oposition we all face. We hope to reach every one on some level, and have been pretty successfull at it so far...hopefully when we reach YOU, you will feel the same way... This newest Album is Called "Free Layka" because of the wrongfull incarceration of band member Layka. The corrupt police department in Jacksonville is buta mere reflection of a problem that has plauged the U S since it's birth, Racism. We wont reset untill the problem disapears....hense the infinate strugle and our name. The Crew Consists of Lord Northstar, Gatz-B the Great, Knight Krawla, Focus, Blakhart,Vic Vagetah, Aaron Jr, and our newest addition DJ Forty.
