Ever since a young soldier this protégé has always had hip-hop in his heart. Broadway Dolla started his career at the tender age of six. Being the youngest of his break-dance crew he always got the most attention from the older crew members. As the years pass and he got more exposed to the music scene, his attention turned more towards the rap game. Listening to rap/hip-hop artists such as ROB BASE, KRS 1,BIZ MARKIE, EAZY-E etc. Dreams of him becoming a rap star had become vivid. Mimicking styles in search of his own wasn’t an easy task. However, giving up would never be an option for Dolla either. With his distinctive voice and witty lyrics it wasn’t long before people started to recognize his work as an artist. In 1994 he had recieved feed back from Profile Records in regards to a demo he had sent to them prior. Without knowledge of how record labels worked at the time he never responded. His most recent project was a sound track for an independent film called “April Fools” which should be released soon. Broadway Dolla has opened up for artists such as Mobb Deep, Smif N Wessun, GhostFace Killah and has performed locally in CT, Mass. and N.Y. He’s also a My Space member as a featured artist and a member of ASCAP. He’s just trying to make his mark in the hip-hop world.
