On any given block in Chicago Illinois, gangsters, hustlers, and dope phenes can be found going about there daily routines. Somewhere lurking amidst the chaos, lurks a lyrical monster. Hailed by rap critics as a potential great, and feared by opposing MC's, F.I.T. (Future is Today or simply Future) possesses the aura of a superstar. Born in the mid-eighties on chicago's northside, F.I.T. has since relocated several times within the Chicago area. "Every year it felt like I was the new kid on the block" F.I.T. states while reflecting on his upbringing. "It worked out for the best though, I got people in all parts of the city ya dig." Although known mainly for his explosive punchlines/metaphors and as a freestyler/battler, F.I.T.'s best attribute may be his versatility. In addition to being an MC/songwriter, F.I.T. also works as a publicist, budding beatmaker, and as an author. However, hip-hop is his passion as evidenced by his vivid lyrics. With his ability, there is no telling how far this Chicago native will go.
