About Me:

DJ Dutchmaster is the founder and C.E.O. of the Coalmine Records. It's through his start-up label that he gets to flex his dj muscle. Dutch first learned to DJ under the apprenticeship of DJ Topspeed while attending Indiana University. Dutchmaster made his vinyl debut in 2005 on the 12" record titled 'The Raw', where his DJ skills are featured alongside lyrical heavyweights Saigon, Inspectah Deck as well as Coalmine Records flagship recording artist, Bekay. Dutchmaster recenlty provided his handywork on 'Fahrenheit' which is the lead 12" to Doujah Raze's recent release, Past, Presence and Features. This track features guest appearances from the legendary A.G. and Sean Price. Dutch has been keeping busy in the lab doing cuts for several other underground artists incluidng Shabaam Sahdeeq, R.A. The Rugged Man, Born Unique, Radix, Frank B. and others. Currently, Dutchmaster is set to release "The Foundation" through his label which is hands down set to be the official mixtape of 2007. The Foundation is entirely produced by Shuko, hosted by Heltah Skeltah and mixed by yours truly. This project features appearances from everyone that's who's who in the game including Saigon, Army of the Pharaohs, Bekay, Jae Millz, Papoose, Immortal Technique, Rakim, Talib Kweli, Shabaam Sahdeeq, Hell Razah, Skyzoo and more. Dutch lays down the cuts for many of the tracks featured on this project as well. Always keeping busy, Dutchmaster is also working closely alongside Bekay for the release of Bekay's full length LP, 'Hunger Pains' slated for an '07 release through Coalmine. Hunger Pains features production from The Alchemist, Jonathan Rotem (JR), DJ Babu, Shuko, Marco Polo, Street Orchestra, Illmind, BeanOne among others. Hunger Pains also will also feature guest M.C. and D.J. appearances from Sean Price, Rock, Masta Ace, Wordsworth, R.A., DJ Revolution, Mista Sinista as well as himself.
