About Me:

Jallen Ran$um was born and raised in Peoria, Illinois and is an up and coming hip-hop artist and producer. He has been in the rap game since 2000 when he was a member of the locally known trio “Natrils.” With this group he produced his first two albums, “Shootin 4 Dollars” and “From tha P to tha Pros.” In 2003 Jallen Ran$um separated from this group as a result creative differences to pursue his career as a solo artist. Since then he has continued to produce, write, and record his own music. His recently released album “Street Turbulence” has solidified his spot as one of the hottest independent artists in the country.
In addition to his own tracks, his cousin and production partner “Producer Hac” team up to create the unique sound that Jallen Ran$um is becoming known for. From time to time Ran$um also seeks the musical brilliance of Chris Mathien an aspiring singer/producer out of Wheaton Illinois.
With a Bachelors degree in Business Marketing from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, it is no surprise that Jallen Ran$um is as business minded as they come. He is a producer, artist, writer and promoter or in his words, an “all around hustla.” Aside from music he currently promotes parties at clubs throughout the Midwest.
As for now he is in the studio with his engineer Chris Harris at Hidden Haven Recording Studio recording and mixing down tracks for his latest effort, “The Motion Picture LP” which is scheduled for release sometime in the summer of 2008.
