Hip Hop is not dead its just been mainstream-ized. If you practice vintage Hip Hop culture, that type of culture continues to live. Myrawkus.com is a living example of that.

Spoken Word is the earliest recorded form of rap.

If you really want to make a difference take the next step after making a record about revolution, get your hands dirty and help ya people rise. Give back.

If you find yourself hating your own people, you've become part of the problem.

Part of maturing as an adult is understanding that you have the ability to control how you respond to that which is out of your control. Think about it.

If you lack spirituality, you will never find answers and you will always ultimately feel alone. Establish a close relationship with God and remember that any religion that does not focus on getting to know yourself better and developing your own opinions is probably wasting your time. God gave us the ability to think for a reason.
