Nicole Rhodes, a.k.a,”Notice,” is one of those rare people that lives and breathes entertainment. From the beginning, Nicole Rhodes, a.k.a, “Notice,” has been a person that has been a pacesetter rather that a follower. She began her singing career early but, decided to take time off from performing to raise her family and to run her hair salon. It was during this break from performing that her business prowess became evident. She discovered and perfected the art of successful advertising and marketing by running several successful campaigns for her salon and starting her own local TV show. She began to think about incorporating the successful and proven marketing tactics for her music career. In January of 2007, “Notice” reemerged on the music scene with the album single, “On the flo’.” She immediately began to flood the streets her new song while performing at shows for audiences around the region. Within a couple months, Nicole has accomplished more than the average performer could have with a year head start! The single, “On the flo’,” has received national airplay in Detroit, Florida, and in Cleveland, OH. The uncut video (included with the CD) has been aired on Cinemax and she is in the process of launching her record label, Scream at me records. Although it seems unbelievable, Nicole’s integrity combined with her magnetic personality serves as the factors maker her progress attainable. Vocally speaking, there is not another artist that can measure up to her diversity. She combines singing and hip-hop lyricism into a style, called “Swagga Funk,” that purely captivates you. This unique blend of styles accompanied with her rich, soulful voice demands listeners to simply take “Notice.”

For most artists, having a “buzz” in the streets is enough to prove that they are making moves; “Notice” continues to raise the bar of success for herself. This multi-business owner and accredited artist seem to harness unlimited creativity and potential. From the time she enters a place, people are intrigued by her as she subtlety captures their attention. The summer of 2007, has been a very productive time for Nicole and Scream at me Entertainment. Notice has also won 2nd place for the Ohio Hip Hop Awards Youngstown showcase which entitles her to perform at the ceremony in front of major labels and other top local artist. The Ohio Hip Hop Awards ceremony will be held on September 22, 2007, at the Galleria in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. So, ladies and gentleman, prepare for your first “Notice” experience.
